Martha Raye was a old time movie. She did very well in TV as well. Shewas also an RN in the Army and full colonel in the hospital unit. She performed in a USO show in Vietnam and in charge of the RNs in the hospital there.

I remember watching the Carol Burnett Show. I also remember when she did a skit slamming Anita Bryant when Anita commented on queers. Carol was one of Rock Hudson’s cheerleaders.
