I literally ran into Barbara Eden coming off an elevator at the original MGM in Vegas in 1976. She giggled as I stammered an apology when I recognized her. Tiny but drop dead gorgeous.

She sure looks a whole lot better then those woman who’ve had 26 plastic surgeries. Melanie Griffith for example.

She looks great and what a wonderful smile! She's clearly enjoying life.

Had to laugh at one of the photo captions: "The show's premise involved a 2,000-year-old genie being rescued by an astronaut (Larry Hagman), who rubs her bottle after crash landing his shuttle on a beach." The The Shuttle was originally presented to the public in 1972. The show ran 1965 to 1970. The caption writer sure didn't do any basic checking. Even Wikipedia gets it right: "Captain Tony Nelson, US Air Force, is on a space flight when his one-man capsule Stardust One..."

Of course, Project Gemini occurred in 1965 - 1966 and used a two-man capsule, so the show was actually behind the times. But it didn't read about a "shuttle" in it's crystal ball. Besides, NASA originally called it a "space truck" in the 60s.

Sheesh, my age is showing!

Heck, I recently saw the Twilight Zone episode with Adam and Eve. Do you remember that one?

Same with me! I loved I Dream of Jeannie because of Barbera and the stable of Pontiac GTO's that were always on the program. Mary Ann and Julie Newmar were hot too!

Does anyone remember her first appearance in the movie (predated the series) Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (Walter Pigeon and a very aged and morphine addict fat Peter Lorie were in the cast)? It was a five second close up of her bottom as she danced the twist. Made quite an impression on a young mind.

“Jeannie” was indeed a Pontiac show. Not too many shows sported Pontiacs. I think “My Three Sons” did for a while. And “Naked City” was a Pontiac show. Can’t think of any others, offhand.

I loved Elizabeth Montgomery too! She was in a few Twilight Zone episodes before she starred in “Bewitched”.

Just occurred to me that the plot centered around the Van Allen Radiation Belt going out of whack and causing uncontrolled and catastrophic global warming. Guess that part made an impression on a young and stupid senator’s son from Tennessee.

Yep, but the first shot was a close up of Miss Eden’s shaking derriere.

If you have seen Eden in the film “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”, then you will certainly understand that she must have had incredible skills dodging horny actors!
