I've been here a pretty long time and this is the first thread I've evern seen on Liberace. So how do you know he's got this huge number of FR fans?

I started to watch it...but couldn’t get past 20 minutes. Had to walk away. There was NO NEED WHATSOEVER to make it as gay as they did. They could have had Douglas and Damon speaking to without constantly pawing each other. Dreadful.
Let me tell you, every adult knew Liberace was a homosexual. Ditto Truman Capote, Paul Lynde, and Rex Reed. Nobody made a big deal about it ....including the homosexual celebrities from that era.
I doubt there were many adult Americans at the time who didn’t know Liberace was a homosexual. Just nobody made a big deal about it...not even Liberace.

What made Liberace different from today’s crowd is that he didn’t shove a rainbow agenda in your face. His act was 100% family friendly.
