I am sitting in a NYC high school library. The student sitting at the next computer is from Egypt. We got into a conversation when I saw him scanning an Arabic language newspaper. He was expounding the greatness of a certain Egyptian economist, saying if he would but return to Egypt, he would fix their crumbling economy quickly. Our conversation veered into how dangerous it was to be in Egypt right now ("Oh yes, very dangerous!") and then he clicked onto a webpage about the Darwin Award winner Rachel Corrie, who got run over accidently by an Israeli bulldozer razing the home of a terrorist. He insisted that the home was solely occupied by a "90 year old woman". Yeah, right. And where did he get a lot of his information about the Jews? He proudly showed me this wonderful informative book--The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an infamous text cited by scores of hard-core antisemites. Here was this pretty nice looking boy, already programmed to recite propaganda. He was arguing with me about how the Jews took the Pallies' land, etc. etc. I tried to explain to him the concept of media slant for the purposes of an agenda. Didn't fly.
Just wanted to share with FReepers this amazing example of the genesis of baseless hatred.
But it does indicate the type of information he gets and uses on a daily basis. Can anyone spell the word “mosque”, boys and girls?
Does not surprise me. I have met teachers who share similar views.
That is a prime example of a muslim hating infidels. He is a muslim and he believes in islam which means he would either make you a muslim... make you a slave or kill you... if he could. If things do not change... islam will gain that power.

Yes, unfortunately that is correct. They are so eager to show how “with it” they are, how “one with the students”. Probably voted for Mulgrew, too, those folks.

How DARE you second-guess the recipient of a student visa and scholarships in our diverse and understanding nation? With that attitude you may well find yourself beheaded in the name of tolerance and understanding. Work hard and pay your taxes in order to bring more of these folks over here and stop complaining about silly things.

Anyway it was presented to the Muslim world as being an official document of the US congress. It sent the message to Muslims (anti semitic by the very nature of Islam), that the US was run by a small group of very evil, very powerful Jews who were hell bent on world domination.
Yes, Russia was the very best at using agitprop successfully. The fact this thing is still circulating is evidence of that.. As is the fact it accomplished it’s goal.
If you want to know what the real ‘hate - propaganda’ fed to Muslims against Jews is, look no further than the pages of the Quran & Hadiths.. Their ‘prophet’ Muhammed was a vile anti semite & Jew - murderer & their ‘holy books’ are much worse a form of vile propaganda than even the ‘POEZ’.
