Ok Pounds to Lose, Need a Diet, Diabeitic Friendly Meal Replacer...Obamacare Employer Requiring Loss

OK, I put on some kid and stess pounds and need to lose it. The Slimfast diet always worked for me but now I am prediabetic and trying to lose metabolic syndrome weight.

I need a meal replacer, preferable a powder that works like Slimfast with much less carbs.

The ideal? Powder that blends with milk, low carb, medium protein and medium fat.

Anyone?

The HMR entrees do not need to be refrigerated. The few I have tried are pretty good. The Turkey Chili will be a great camp out food this fall!

I told my husband we should get some for our bug out packs :)

I have just started the program because of my Thyroid issue...my doctor suggested it.

I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I was put on a restricted sodium diet. I have found that if you keep your sodium less than 2000mg/day everything else seems to fall in line. just my $0.02 adjusted for inflation.

There are some similar products that I have seen on line and at Walmart, but I can’t remember the name of most. It seems like there are some premixed bottles of Glucerna that you can just open and drink.

Also several meal replacement bars that are low carb. Atkins has some stuff like that, and may even have a powdered type.

I had a diabetic friend, and she lost weight by eating full servings of fresh veggies and 3 full servings of lower glycemic fruits, and half portions of starches and proteins each meal. She kept the glucerna in her purse, in she needed a boost.
