Michael Savage Does A U Turn

Posted on 07/03/2013 10:06:53 AM PDT by WyCoKsRepublican

Those of us that like a variety of takes on many issues are likely to get frustrated at times. Such was last night when I was listening to the good doctor. I've never questioned Dr. Savages' intellect or brilliance as an exceptionally educated individual. His premise was that Zimmerman's killing Martin was pre meditated. There is absolutely no truth to back that up. The fact that there was a round "chambered" and the weapon cocked proves nothing. George Zimmerman was prepared and based on what I've heard he defended himself possibly from severe head injuries or even death. I have another theory as well that perhaps Dr. Savage was trying to "stir the pot" to get the minority community to tune in and boost his listenership. That would be a brilliant move on his part. Your thoughts.........The Great OZ has spoken

Punks or no punks. If they have a good reason for being there, they should not be harassed. Just riding around and looking at how someone dresses is not a good enough reason to get out of the vehicle with the mind set of confronting them. Zimmerman did not even know the name of the street he was on. How could he know who lived there and who did not?

You call him a derogatory name and then want to say how bad HE is? You have no credibility using the word yid.

Well, I doubt if the opinion of a goyim such as yourself is going to carry much weight with me, bud.

“around my house in the rain.”

He had no car. He was walking back to his bother’s house. He had to walk in the rain if he wanted to get back to his brother. I have had to walk in the rain a lot. Especially in college. YOU probably think walking in the rain is crazy. But YOU probably have a car.

Savage is deeply into Rubio territory here.

1. GZ never said TM was looking into windows.
2. It is raining and dark and GZ can tell that someone looks like he is on drugs even tho he has never seen them before? I doubt it.
3. GZ was training with MMA : http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/6/28/4475994/george-zimmerman-training-mma-weeks-before-trayvon-martin-shooting
4. If TM was covering GZ mouth, how was he able to yell help? Why are the scratches on GZ head on the top andnot the back if TM was hitting his head on the sidewalk?

My dog loves the rain. We walk miles in the grain all the time. When it is snowing we walk in the snow. Trayvon did not just head for home in his drug addled world.

But I am grafted into the family because I know the Massiah has come out of the tribe of Judah just like the Angel told Daniel. And I know I will see Him in the flesh just as Job said in the 19th chapter of Job.

Licensed by the bureau of security and investigative services. Train regularly in an indoor firing range.

AND, last but not least, I have confronted criminals TWICE with my weapon. I kept a distance far enough away so that I could chamber.

The first group of individuals were rioting post mlk assasination. I was escorting a friend across campus. College authorities had advised us not to go outside. I refuse to live in fear even for a couple of nights.

About a dozen rioters nearly surrounded us when I whipped out my pistol. As I was fanning it I commandingly yelled “Everybody freeze.”

Do you think any one of those dozen or so rioters moved another step?

Zimwad was out for blood that night and states he has absolutely no regrets. And I believe the person on the phone when she said Trayvon said “Why you followin’ me?” See Georgy Porgy fibbed about that because he doesn’t want to be portrayed as following the teen. And he did not identify himself. Anyone with an ounce of decency in their heart listening to Zimwad on Hannity say he has no regrets—how can you kill an innocent kid and have no regrets? Oh, right, right, he was getting the worst of the scuffle, but managed to scream help with his nose pinched shut and his mouth covered. Right.

Love to hear even one of you armchair commandos relate a real gun incident. No law says you can’t draw down fearing imminent harm.

Ecliptic ~:” 4. If TM was covering GZ mouth, how was he able to yell help? Why are the scratches on GZ head on the top andnot the back if TM was hitting his head on the sidewalk? “

In regard to #2 Toxicology report verifies drug usage, as GZ had suggested to the administrative
In regard to #3 I cannot get into the website to verify .

In regard to #4 How was he able to cry for help ?
I doubt that GZ was compliant while being choked with TM covering his nose and mouth, along with Zimmerman’s own blood going down his own throat into his lungs(think “waterboarding”)
If he was not compliant, he would do everything to get a breath by trying to break the blockage over his mouth. Breathing also requires exhaleing , at which point GZ cried out for help.

“I’ve had four times in my life when showing my gun stopped a situation, luckily I didn’t have to shoot.”

Four times. Exactly my point. I’ve had two. Why didn’t you have to shoot?

Because showing the weapon is almost always enough.

“These *ssholes always get away” —Zimwad

Here’s hoping you don’t get away, *sshole. Manslaughter or m2.

“DAO automatic pistols are as safe as modern revolvers. Granted the 19th century revolvers were carried with the hammer on an empty cylinder. That was necessary because the gun could fire if dropped and landed on it’s hammer.”

Gee, then it must have been a car backfire I heard in this century when I dropped my semi-auto and it discharged. And that can happen even with a safety on.

>>>That way, if there is a struggle for the gun, the other party cannot simply pull the trigger. That was Michael’s main point and he is dead on.

No...he's not...and neither are you. Even if he SHOULD have done this...it doesn't prove pre-meditation. It just proves he carries in this situation like most with a CCL.

So...NO. WRONG. Now you have to ask yourself WHY is he saying this...because there is no logical reason to suggest pre-meditation.

I guess you wouldn’t be satisfied unless he completed his thought:

These *assholes always get away”-—BUT NOT THIS TIME AND OF COURSE I HAVE NO REGRETS BECAUSE IT’S WHAT I SET OUT TO DO.”

Well, I'm not an 'armchair commando'.

What is the 'bureau of security and investigative services'.

I have confronted a criminal once. Have the scars to prove it.

I have not posted on Free Republic for many years and of course had forgotten my password. I have lurked from time to time and followed the Savage threads especially with morbid fascination. I read through many posts from July 1 and 2. Now I am finally inspired to come back. Frankly, I don’t know what it will take for sane conservatives to swear off Savage. The unneccesarily nasty rant against Sarah Palin ( he compared her unfavorably to Biden, you’ll remember), the autism embarrassment, the donation to Brown? One of the reasons I am overly concerned about this is, I admit, my ex-boyfriend was a big Savage follower and this perplexed me. For one thing he was a big marijuana user and you know Savage hates it. I asked him about the political contributions—he said “He explained that.” (reminds me of conversations I used to have with Rajshneesh admirers and other cult members)I didn’t ask about the autism business or Palin. Anyway, I have a theory that his staff hates him because he is probably one of those Nanny Diaries type of bosses, and treats them like crap. So they are letting him go on the air with stuff not well fact-checked. For example I think he still believes that Spanish vote-counting machine story, which has been debunked. A couple of months ago he did a big segment on a documentary about a long-lost VietNam POW, though the guy had been outed as a fraud several days before. After the Woolwich machete terrorism episode, he repeated over and over that the assailants were dead. They weren’t. He’s now repeating the story about Russian troops in America. Next day Glenn Beck, of all people, debunked this. Savage is now, I think, getting a lot of his show prep from a Texas conspiracy theorist who is a frequent guest on Coast to Coast. I won’t mention his name because I don’t want this post deleted, but you know who I mean. This is not a sign of a show that has a bright future. Throughout the spring, he has been casting around for topics, ranging from Jody Arias to listeners’ secret confessions(even George Noory could do better than this). Somewhere on Free Republic, someone, I don’t remember who, posted a list of what all is wrong with Savage. This was several years ago. If you can find it, I suggest reading it.
