I'm sure those of you following the Zimmerman trial have some favorite moments of your own, and I thought it might be nice to have a thread for us to share and reflect back on the trial. So I'll kick this off by listing some of my favorites, and I'll be looking forward to hearing about some of yours.
Here's mine:
1) Naturally, hearing the words "Not Guilty"
2) Don West refusing to shake hands.
3) Cracking up over Dr. Bao (I haven't laughed that hard in years).
4) Detective Serino saying he believed Zimmerman.
5) Just, generally, being in awe of Mark O'Mara (I can't pin down one exact thing here, so I'll leave that to you).
6) Prosecution (stupidly) asking the use of force expert what other choices Zimmerman had, to which he confidently responded "None".
All of the above.
And, I would add, the Police Non-Emergency Operator, stating that they are instructed NOT to give direct orders, vis-à-vis, Don’t Follow, Stay in your truck etc., etc.

Laughing at Angela Corey’s absurd and innapropriate post verdict presser. Pimped up like a $2 hooker and smiling like she won, she was eating up every minute of camera time. Totally bizarre!!
The whole idiocy of the prosecution entering the tapes of the Zimmerman phone calls to the police. If Zimmerman was out to kill Trayvon, why would he call the police to the seen before encountering Trayvon?

The 4 minutes of silence in O’Maras closing argument
O’ Meara’s use of the word REALLY! and the prosecutions FAILED attempt to adopt same in thier failed responses
The SIdewalk as weapon evidence! and his comment about being held in contempt of court.... if he dropped it on the courtroom floor.
His intelligence was an inspiration

Prosecutor’s attempt to toss in “Child Abuse” charge at the last moment...

He referred to TM as a “black boy” at least twice during his testimony. Where was the outrage?
Watching witness after witness implode for the prosecution. Bernie skipping, la, la, la.....was hysterical. The best was the prosecutions close, their obvious desperation when they resorted to calling GZ names, Mr. Softie......it was over.
West yelling at the judge as she stomped out to rise away on her broom.
Officer Singleton saying George saw the cross on her necklace and asked if she was Catholic and about killing someone being a sin. "Well, I don't think God intends we don't defend ourselves."
The neighbor who testified about how GZ helped change her locks and got her a dog for protection. This impressed Juror 37B and showed he had a heart.
