What’s all the hubbub, Bub?
“Traitor Republic”??? You have a real weird way of making friends don’t you?
I take it, that the material you tried to post was good stuff. I once posted much to this site (mostly foreign relations/defense—Iran, etc.), and a few of my posts were deleted because of the rules. Don’t sweat it. Cool off with a simple and calm activity. Have a good day anyway, and tomorrow’s another day. See you then.
What’s a Martha Trowbridge?
The difficulty with this sort of spittle-spewing outrage is that it looks sort of silly when the original thread is restored by the proprietor himself, especially in the presence of contumelies such as "yellow-bellied" and the absence of such niceties as "please" and "thank you", which, I think, might have sufficed. Instead, what we have is a thread like a "kick-me" sign. You've only yourself to blame if the bugger is hijacked.
So I'll get things started: Did Saint Abraham Lincoln make the Marines adopt the 9mm pistol because they're all gay?
Yeah. That ought to do it.
Another violation of the rule I set for myself today....bookmark. Three posts.
Friend, I think you have been lit up.
In all my years here, I never heard of a restriction that links had to be from open sites. Even the main page does not list such a requirement.
I appreciate the hard work that the admins do, but I do not personally care for arbitrary decision making that does not stand up to the scrutiny of past patterns.
As annoying as it may be, the pendulum swings back and forth between pay walls and open access. We may see more previously free sources move to subscription. This site has always had its strength as a news aggregation and discussion site. I'd hate to see awareness of news filtered because the content beyond fair use excerpt is subscription.
I'd rather know of its existence, and then I can choose to subscribe or not.

Too late, we already have a new Undead Thread. But thanks anyway, maybe next month.
It’s been a long week so I’ll enjoy this pile on.
Why are you being so whiny?
