I read that as “Federal Pig” when I first glanced at the article...

We had a neighbor growing up that would fatten up hogs for the county fair by taking plastic buckets and filling them with corn and water and letting them set in the sun to ferment for a while.

Happiest fattest hogs at the whole fair!
