Major developments after Sunday night's episode:
1. Hank and Gomie are killed and buried in the desert by Jack and gang.
2.Jack gives Walt one barrel of money and takes off with the rest of the 80 mil.
3. Walt, Jr. learns the truth about his father.
4. Jesse is kidnapped by Todd and forced to cook.
5. Walt takes full blame (with the police listening in) to clear Skyler. She is aware of what he is doing.
6. Episode ends with Walt getting in that van (with his one barrel of money that Jack allowed him) and heading off to a new identity.
OMG. Great television!
But what now?
.
Oops! Sorry.
We will watch carefully when the episode is shown before the new episode. I still don’t know how I missed it.
He’s going to blow the meth lab sky high and set up the criminals for a fiery death. Maybe.
Walt is in way over his head with real criminals and he will pay for his past transgressions. He’s gotta go.
Wait a sec......
Do we know that Walt has given Jesse and/or Todd exactly everything in the blue meth recipe? Apparently Todd doesn’t know the whole recipe. Does Jesse?
Todd took off the cuffs and Walts glasses were in the car.
When Jesse accompanied Gus and Mike to Mexico to meet with the cartel boys, Gus had Jesse do a cook that came in at 98% pure.
Yeah, he knows how to do it.
The “Better Call Saul” spinoff will be a prequel... so he could die. Just sayin’
Right you are....
Back to square one......
It appears to be more of a knowledge and attention to detail issue than ingredients. Walt knows the variables and understands the reactions such that he can compensate.
I think you are right now about Walt not taking the ricin.
I did not realize that it takes 3 days for ricin to kill you. Obviously, Walt would not take it then. However, if it is such a cruel means of death, who would Walt hate that much?
I agree with Semper. I do not think he hates Lydia that much.
So could one look at it that this was Walt’s way of protecting Jesse from future elimination before he betrayed Walt? Meaning, Jesse knowing the exact formula would be “safe” if he kept it to himself? Do you think Todd will learn it now that Jesse’s captive and then wack him once Jesse gives the formula up?
Fun to ponder...
I have seen all of the BB series... except 1. Someone do me a favor and spill what happened to Skyler's FWB that put him in the hospital.
Ok, I follow you on the Todd angle...
Just can’t help but wonder if some of what certain people know is intentional for planning purposes....
A short while ago I was thinking about the guy who showed up here to berate posters. It occurred to me that this is similar to a book club where we read a chapter or two and gather to discuss it.
The intricacies and nuances of this series are very impressive. If we were BTTTing a Sponge Bob thread I could understand his disdain, but not this series. I could even understand someone describing SOA as a biker soap opera; it pretty much is. This is on an a "whole-nutha-level".
Latest rumor? Walt, Saul, Jesse, Jr, Sky, Marie, Todd, Jack and what's her name - nervous nelly - gather in a restaurant for dinner and the scene fades to black.
(LOL - Didn't watch that series, but read about it)
Yeah, I get why the guy is complaining, too, but if he watched it and had legit complaints, I’d pay attention to him but as it is, I get nothing but blah blah from those kind of folks.
I’m not a fan of book clubs but this is fun...especially for this show where nuances are very subtle and can be looked at differently or completely missed.
Once the season is over, I want to watch the whole thing again to see what I missed and enjoy guys like Tuco and Gus again....
