I do know what I am missing.
Immoral and Amoral characters. Gory violence. Meaningless sex and nudity. Lots and lots of foul language.

Haven't watched it. My favorite is NCIS and there one also gets to know each character over the seasons. I especially like Ziva and Tony. Actually have seasons 1 through 10. Great series.

I see the connection to the Godfather.
Michael Corleone wanted to save his family. But by doing so, he destroyed it.
Walter White want to save his family. He starts cooking meth so he can leave his family with something when he’s gone. In doing so, he destroys them.
Powerful stuff, man.

I watched a coupled of episodes. It had a problem. When a show has no characters that I have any attachment to, I lose interest.
