Stories like this one from the British publication, The Mirror, are guaranteed to drive our benighted opposition crazy.
Not that they’d judge the decision of businesswoman Trudy Perry (right) to abort five babies. It’s only does she have to splash it all over the tabloids?
You can read Angela Carless’s story here. You will be horrified and be able to comment probably better than I could. So this will be brief.
In a nutshell all these abortions came about (as part of the headline suggests) “because timing wasn’t right.” Relationships came and went; babies came and went. Perry could never find the right guy at the right time. Since the moon and the stars never aligned just right, she had abortions at ages 15, 19 (twins), 24, 28, and 32. The babies ranged in ages from 12 weeks to 20 weeks. Each time, wrong time, wrong man.
The reader is supposed to both feel sorry for her (“As I approach my 50th birthday, I can’t help looking back on my life and the choices I’ve made”) and be impressed by the depth of her wisdom ( “I’ve learned you have to live with the choices you make”). Unless you are one of her five unborn babies, that is.
Perry concludes with this:
“While I am embarrassed that I’ve had three husbands, I’m not ashamed of the abortions.
“Life is not perfect and while I am sad that my children were never born, I feel so lucky that I have finally found the man who is perfect for me [her partner, Graham].”
I will leave it to you, our readers, to comment on that.
She should be embarrassed that her life is a train wreck.
If history proves correct (and actual science), she will never carry a child to term, due to her choices.
God’s law’s never get violated for long, just saying...
Or she may give birth to one child. Then she will really know the horror of the other five she aborted.
This is what I do not understand in this day and age.
Abortion should not be used for Birth Control when there are so many alternatives out there available for women.
Yet you have this idiot who has had multiple abortions when she could have availed herself of the Pill or other methods not to have children.

Abortion in free societies is primarily the result of a cultural promotion and expectation of fornication (sex before marriage). As long as this is the norm, abortion will have its support from society.
Based on her choices, she should never be a mother!

Good lord, this sounds like something out the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War. Abortion rates were incredibly high in many of those countries (often outnumbering live births by a substantial margin), and the multiple abortion scenario was not uncommon.

Too many schools can’t teach about birth control these days due to political pressure.
I do not understand these women who carelessly sleep with men they have no interest in having children with or marrying. Are they that desperate for a roll in the hay that it is repeatedly the “wrong man” when they get pregnant? If he is the “wrong man,” why on earth were you with him? Did you even like him?
She is pushing 50. I don’t think she will be having kids. I hope the reason she doesn’t regret the abortions of her six children is denial and not that she is just a callous, murderous b-word. May God lift the scales from her eyes.
