But Obamacare is imploding.

All planned FRiend. Nobody (not even Fedgov) fails this badly.

Once the current system fails, Fedgov can swoop in to "save the day" with single payer.

That is the End Game and if we do not see it coming and fight it, all is lost.

The control of food is next.

Freepers, you need to understand and cite Federalist 10 (James Madison), part of what reads:

From this view of the subject it may be concluded that a pure democracy, by which I mean a society consisting of a small number of citizens, who assemble and administer the government in person, can admit of no cure for the mischiefs of faction. A common passion or interest will, in almost every case, be felt by a majority of the whole; a communication and concert result from the form of government itself; and there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths. Theoretic politicians, who have patronized this species of government, have erroneously supposed that by reducing mankind to a perfect equality in their political rights, they would, at the same time, be perfectly equalized and assimilated in their possessions, their opinions, and their passions.

In my opinion, all was lost when I left the R party when they controlled the congress and executive branches and still spent like drunken sailors.

My position on this whole thing can be summed up in a statement made by a visiting pastor to my old church in Seattle back in the late 80’s:

“Where would the early church have been if they had put their faith in Rome?”

I am not an American. I am a Christian. Countries come and go. This one, like the British empire, has about run its course.

Without government interference, I can be pretty much self sufficient on my 32 acres now, half of which is wooded. It can be a full compound for my entire family if need be.

I’m invoking the Serenity Prayer, as I actually have since my epiphany about our two parties in the Bush years. Interestingly, I’m experiencing the most enjoyable time of my life right now.

And I have health care at least as good as the prophets and the Apostles. What’s to complain about? ;-)

Though I agree, I believe that this was not the plans of mere men. It was someone a bit more ancient - and evil. The bible is very clear that things will get worse before they get better.

I’ve been listening to the bible on my commute. I’m up to Daniel, which I listened to in its entirety on my way in this morning. It was a good one considering the events of the last 48 hours. It gives one an interesting perspective.
