I actually like tonight’s episode because I was beginning to be bored with the flu situation at the prison. (First world problems, I know)
I like that TWD showed us that The G was having a mental breakdown (David Morrissey is a GREAT ACTOR). Was he truly evil or did Penny’s situation and ultimate death push him over the cliff? With everything he has done to this point, he has convinced us that he is evil. But the genius of the show is trying to get us to sympathize a little with him.
Having said that, I still don’t get at what point he is looking at the prison after the outbreak. It’s obvious it’s after he befriends Meghan’s family. But how much after? Is he, at that point, wanting to join Rick and the survivors to assure Meghan and her mom/aunt’s survival? I’m so confused.
David Morrissey kind of explains the scene at the prison on Talking Dead.
I did see a resemblance to Meghan in those two girls/women. Family?
Since it was at the end of last week's episode, I believe it was present day.
Last night's episode is a flash back many months to when he killed his own group then took off in the truck with the two homies.
As for staring at the prison from the edge of the woods, he's probably plotting revenge against Michonne and saying to himself "I'm gonna keep an eye out for her"..........
