I'll give her a pass on the Newt thing and believe the former Attorneys Generals (hey, they said they were 'conservative') put her up to it and she thought it was just being a good journalist/debate moderator.
And it allowed Newt to shine.
And I'll take Megyn over BOR every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Looks to me that she posed a good question which gave Newt the opportunity to give a great answer.

Ah, but you guys are cutting Megyn too much slack…she was not attempting to let Newt shine…that is not what these media types do in debates. They are all looking to make themselves look good by stumping the candidates.
The condescension and arrogance was dripping off of Kelly - until she got spanked…which in and of itself is a compelling visual…..

Newt is a pretty smart guy with lots of experience.. I wouldn’t dare debate any issues with him unless I had really done my homework and I’d still probably lose. The guy is good.
