I won't be around long to reply, as I'm getting ready to leave the house. So enjoy!

I have to believe that even the tree huggers get a bit turned on when looking at these things.

When I was a kid in the 1960’s, I built models of some of those first ones.

Thanks!

Some custom builds don’t interest me too much, I prefer seeing a good car rebuilt to factory (like the 57 BelAir Custon convertible...schweeeet!)

Sadly, I only got to see about half because my company firewall blocks photo-share sites like tinypic. I’ll see the rest later today when I get home.

As did I. I used to have what I called a “plastic junkyard” for mixing parts. The hobby continues to this day and the latest techniques and quality of workmanship are over-the-top incredible.

Check out this book on the subject:

Do you mean the blond or the brunette? I think they’re both in their 20s. :)

I remember seeing some of those cars in the flesh, when they toured with the “World of Wheels” show; at least that is what it was called when it came through town..

Oh, THAT! It’s a 1940 Ford pickup. It was designed and built to pick up pretty blonds and brunettes.

I miss my 47 Ford Coup with a ‘rake’ , Golden Knights car club plaque hanging from the back bumper and flames coming out of the hood. Oh well...

It amazes me what talent and money can do.

Wish I had both.

You’re very welcome. Seems everything, well almost everything, was so much better in the past. Cars, music, tv shows, movies, on and on. IMO, the best thing about today is the awesome technology, such as that which allows you to carry around thousands of songs in a device that fits in the palm of your hand. Sure beats records, 8-tracks, cassettes and cds.

That one with the two bathtubs could be in a Cialis commercial.
