The mighty C130... this plane can reverse its ‘props’ after landing to slow itself down for a short runway or take off with JATO rockets... Thanks FM

I flew a couple of times in a C130. Years ago we flew from Gerogia to Virgina and of course my branch of military service require we wear heavy wool clothing on a 95 degree summer day. Several of us were waiting under the wing to escape the sun when a liquid began to fall from the body of the plane. We commented ‘oh great its not even flying and something is wrong with the plane’. Then a E2 came rushing out with a noncom behind him saying he should never use the ‘pee’ tube on the ground....

Sorry to bring this up but this photo reminds me of the terrible video of that 747 cargo plane crashing in Afghanistan last summer.I read that it's believed that one,or more,of the armored vehicles it was carry shifted during the steep angle takeoff making the aircraft completely uncontrollable.Tragic.
