Any Stories of Obama Buyer's Remorse?

Posted on 01/12/2014 8:08:37 AM PST by eekitsagreek

Anyone know anyone who voted for Obama and now regrets it? I would imagine there would have to be a few since the scandals, Obamacare, Eric Holder, unemployment, etc.

Or are Obama votes simply delusional and/or not willing to admit they made a catastrophic mistake?

My 35 yr old daughter in law. Voted for him the first time, learned her lesson. She’s almost as anti-Barry as I am. Good girl!

Well. I would normally be glad to collect and disseminate anecdotes about buyer’s remorse with this tyrant. But, you cannot fix STUPID no matter how hard you try. It’s just better to drive them on by the Vet’s and let him do his thing.

I work with a lot of Leftists. They bashed President Bush for EIGHT STRAIGHT YEARS.

About 6 months in with 0bama? Not one peep! T hey gloated a bit at first - then they shut up completely. The do NOT sing his praises in any way, shape or form.

I’m certain they won’t be converts to the GOP (hell, I’m barely hanging on; those IDIOTS!) but their silence speaks volumes.

You would know exactly what I’m talking about, were you around them. Rabid anti-Constitutionalists, Big Government morons, the lot of them!

I know plenty from the way they no longer shoot off their mouths about him, and pretend like he doesn’t exist.

Personally,we don’t know anyone who voted for Obama. We don’t associate with people who would do a thing like that.

There’s a lot of it out there but you won’t hear many admit it. Pride is a tough thing to swallow and it is human nature to deny, even to yourself, that you made a mistake. One of the hallmarks of liberalism is the inability to admit their own error.

My impression is that most 0bama voters who are unhappy with him is because he turned out to be not liberal enough for them. They are shithouse rat crazy.....

It is rare that a “Mark” taken in by a grifter goes public to broadcast his stupidity.

It’s interesting that ever since 0bama had his closed door media pow-wow on Zerocare, the negative stories seemed to have tailed off.

What I find more interesting is the complete lack of positive stories.

You’d think it would be any boomer who had thought they might live to see their 70th birthday.

Most Obama voters (at least the 2012 roster) are part of the entitlement army plus a small number of rich cronies who benefit from “progressive” policy.

They are pleased with their guy. He’s delivering what they want.

“My impression is that most 0bama voters who are unhappy with him is because he turned out to be not liberal enough for them.”

That is true. My sister-in-law is furious at him - she wants totally free healthcare for all. She also thinks the govn. should have all the money and divide it equally among the citizens.

My retired coal-miner dad, who's a Roosevelt-style New Deal Democrat. He voted for Obama in 2008 and again in 2012 because he thought that President Zero actually cared about the "little man" and would protect his Medicare and Social Security (the only issues the old man actually cares about). We engaged in some loud and ugly arguments until I decided that we couldn't talk about politics any more without hurting the family.

Now, with all the revelations about how Obama and the Rats are sacking Medicare to pay for Obamacare, as well as all the other scandals and the war on coal, my dear old dad has grown to despise the dictator he helped elect.

People I know who voted for Obastard either 1) still think he’s the cat’s meow or 2) won’t ever admit it. So no, no stories of “Buyers Remorse” from me.

Suckers not willing to admit they made a catastrophic mistake because it would be like bragging one bought Madoff stock.

"Dad"

Sounds like my Dad who died last year. He and my mother grew up under FDR, and I often reminded them the way they'd go on about the rich, they must think he, FDR, was still the president.

But shortly before he died my dad said he no longer considered himself a Democrat. Now, he said, he was an independent. That shocked the heck out of me. He didn't say why, but I think a lot of very old Catholics, like my parents, eventually became disenchanted with the abortion-loving Dems.

I have worked with a ton. They do not openly sing praises and gloat, but they do not complain, either. They are silent about it. Every once in a while something slips out. They are mad that they have not gotten enough, that he is not liberal enough, and that the “crybaby” evil Republicans are so selfish and greedy and block all the “reforms.”

No offense to you, but it’s no satisfaction that some have seen the light. It’s too effing late.

This fool is still around 40% approval and that’s all you need to know to tell you the country is lost.

Next up, Hillary will preside over the continued decline and fall.

And I’ve always been such an optimist. It’s not easy to admit that the tipping point has been passed.
