American Idol hits new ratings low
Seems as if we're the only ones watching..
I so agree. Keith’s the middle child. No say and defers to JLo and Harry. I was so looking forward to this season because of the judges but the contestants are so bad it’s not even fun. I miss the Kelly Clarksons, Carrie Underwoods and, my fave, David Cook. They were exciting and fun to watch - I’d look forward to each episode to see what they were going to sing, especially Cook. The last several years have been nothing but a yawn to me, yet, I remain loyal and can’t live without this thread and you guys each season!!!

Missing the live shows, but try to keep up with surfing the thread as I can. May be able to become more engaged towards the end.

He also didn't mention (or chose to ignore) that Thursday was the first night of the NCAA Tournament.
Everyone's ratings are down from what they used to be. It's hard to compete with any time/any where video streaming. But Idol still holds it's own with the rest of broadcast TV.
If so, I think there was some inbreeding.

I enjoy your commentary too! I kept reading on the Idol facebook page how “sweet” MK’s voice was. There are dozens of kids with “sweet” voices. If her dream was crushed, then blame the producers. It’s pretty obvious why she was on the show in the first place.

Up the hopping place across the street and says American idol contestant hailey is playing there right now. We look in the window and we can see her. The Haley from this year. African American and sings country songs. We can see her on Stage! Thought youd enjoy!
