My Casey Kasem job was transcribing the stars’ interviews. They had 60 minutes of phone interviews with everyone (the interviewer was a married perv who tried to flirt with or ask me out, I was like 16-18), and Casey wanted 30 seconds or so of the best part of the interview, and didn’t want a bad word or some uhhhs on that part, so I was to take the CASSETTE TAPE lol, and transcribe it on a transcribing machine (listening thing with foot pedal and my trusty electric typewriter, ha ha ha), writing every uhh and %#*#^ . The best thing ever was that I was paid by the hour, and is was a slow typist. :). It was fun to hear the interviews but HARD to pick out who was talking if it was a whole group of alike sounding guys.
Urkel. Ugh. I never say this cause I can’t sing but I could do better. Where are the keys for which she is searching? This is pathetic.
One thing she will be going home with at the end of her Idol Journey for sure: straighter teeth.
Omgosh. Dogs must be howling, why is this crowd applauding. This is as atrocious as anything I’ve ever heard on this show. The Voice producers must have severe stomach pains from rolling and laughing.
Aaaaand here comes Keith saying “there ith no doubt about your vocal ability”. I kind of agree with him. These people are LYING TO THIS GIRL.

Cookie was awesome, showing Pinky how to have fun with the camera, the song, connecting. Didn’t work. She is NOT CONNECTING and doesn’t seem to be having fun. When she does look into the camera, she looks like it is hypnotizing her.
That is such a great song but she didn’t quite make it. Shame.

Yes, this is true. When you just listen to idol, you can NOT believe these people were picked from thousands. When only listening, Alex and meatloaf stand out. Pinky not bad either. But only one of those three has enough charisma to be worth watching, and he’s got zero looks, just that sweet chubby smile.

Oh no, islands in the stream? Back when Dolly’s boobs and lips were real, and Kenny Rogers could close his eyes. I saw them perform this “live” (on TV) a few times. They had fun with it. These two.... There may have been an al Qaeda with a sword forcing them to sing. there should have been smiles on their faces, heard in their voices! She’s so serious with this fun song, yet was cheery as sunshine singing about shooting up a school.

I try not to read ahead but sometimes I accidentally get ahead. Is he going to sing? Put on his old spandex (not a good idea because those things might project and put a ferlie’s eye out)? This I gotta see.
