They should’ve gone to the movie manager if they had a complaint about the patron.

Four free tickets? The attorney from Seinfield could get more than that.

Federal agents? Really? Are they sure they weren’t just AMC security employees, or local cops? It is hard to believe that Federal agents are on the beck and call of a local AMC theater operator.

True story from when I lived in Japan, one of the most lucrative movie markets in the world. The tickets are quite pricey, but they really don't care what food you bring in because their concession stand is priced like the local 7-11.
Anyway, foreigners were always first in line to the premiers. And bootleg copies of the movie (complete with coughing or audience noise on the soundtrack) were always showing up in on the streets of Seoul, Hong Kong, Djkarta, Bangkok, Chennai and Beijing within 24 hours later. How do you suppose that happened?

Geez.....repeated questions, no charges or accusations...ominous presence reminiscent of “papers please”....and no one asked what the f@ck a Fed goon was doing in the theatre and why in the hell does a citizen’s use of this item constitute a Gestapo pull-aside?
Damn it.

Amazing that the FBI could find agents to raid a theater in under an hour (the movie may have ended if they didn’t rush right in).
It’s called “priorities”.

These are federal agents? Don’t the feds have anything better to do than go after movie pirates? What an appalling waste of federal funds. Let the movie company do their own enforcement. They certainly have the money to do it.
To: a fool in paradise
Well...you know...the FBI was there in Boston, too...weren’t they? Uh, no.

I had to look up Google Glass to even understand the article.
I'm not sure I understand the technology unless it IS for recording something without holding up a camera.

Bootlegs of theatrical releases are floating around right now thanks to the round of Hollywood awards screeners that have been leaked to the public.
Movie bootlegging is an inside job.
Rank amateurs film it off the screen. Even back “in the day”.
