I don't know. The R.I.P. like another gimmicky P.O.S. to me. I think I'll just stick with HSTs. When I can find them.

If Adolf Hitler relocated to Brazil and called himself "Adolf Liepzig," then I've got some questions about this whole "Master Race" thing.

Excellent! Just what I was thinking!

I can certainly believe in the possibility that Hitler survived WWII. Lots of men, who,are interested in gaining power and wealth wouldn’t be above allowing a monster to get away.

Another “super bullet”. It is like the carburettors that run on water and get 200 miles per gallon of gasoline.

Some people just want to believe that the can get something for nothing. Expanding bullets are better at dumping more energy into the body, and they give up penetration in order to do it.

If I understand it correctly (and I think I do), an armor piercing bullet has a very hard, non-deformable tip so that it can better penetrate armor.

Nope.

Small arms AP has a core of a hard metal, such as steel or tungsten, rather than relatively soft lead.

Additionally, 18 USC § 921 defines "armor piercing" ammuntion as:

"(i) a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a handgun and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from one or a combination of tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium; or

(ii) a full jacketed projectile larger than .22 caliber designed and intended for use in a handgun and whose jacket has a weight of more than 25 percent of the total weight of the projectile."

It has nothing to do with the "tip".

I’ve never seen one with an extended tip reminiscent of a tall and skinny Monument Valley rock formation (back row right, and possibly the one at the front of the V).

Expensive, too. I can imagine a selling price of $2/round or more.

That’s funny. My boss was just telling me earlier today he has a couple of boxes of 9mm Black Talon in his stash.

I told him he is a dope for not selling those at the gunshow, somebody is gonna want those.

If you named one The Rainbow Push, you could maybe get the round endorsed by Jesse Jagmo.

Or The Rainbow Diversity and get endorse by GLAD.

The Rainbow Push© ® ™

The Rainbow Diversity© ® ™

Kinda catchy; if there's money to be made, or misery to be caused, either/both will endorse it.

What bullet is that? Never seen anything like it. Is the purpose of the extended tip to make it tumble?

For an answer I am willing to trade some gun info on my country. In Kenya, it is possible to get a gun license - difficult though. I have one, and my.carry piece is a Glock 19 Gen 4. Purchase price was ...wait for it ...almost USD 2,500 (when I convert go Dollars). A gun that would have set me back 650 in the US. Also, getting good carry ammo is not easy. Most people carry S&B hollowpoints or Fiocchi Black Mamba. I managed to get some Federal Hydrashok. I know a guy who got Golddots from someone at the US embassy, but since I haven't seen them I cannot confirm that.

They’re called THV and Monad Bullets:

After some searching for a name with which to locate their history, a Google Search returns this:
