It seems to be moderating to around 40 during the day the last 2 days. There are still some piles of snow where the drifts were deep. I do hope we are not in for another deep freeze of a winter next year. If so, I will want to pack up and leave for a southern state!

Oh, thank you for the birthday wishes, TCP! It was a very nice day. A friend took me to lunch, flowers were delivered, lots of phone calls and many cards in the mail (and online!)
