'INTERFERENCE': Pilot in another plane was flying 30 minutes ahead of MH370 SEPANG: A BOEING 777 pilot, who was flying 30 minutes ahead of the missing Malaysia Airlines     aircraft, said he established contact with    MH370  minutes  after  he   was    asked to do so by  Vietnamese air traffic control. The captain, who asked to not be named, said his plane, which was bound for Narita, Japan, was far into Vietnamese airspace when he was asked to relay, using his plane's emergency frequency, to MH370 for the latter to establish its position, as the authorities could not contact the aircraft. "We managed to establish contact with MH370 just after 1.30am and asked them if they have transferred into Vietnamese airspace.

Denzel Washington did it in the movie, Flight! And he flew the plane upside down. And was stoned. And drunk.

Multiple people in strategic locations on the plane at 30,000 ft. with explosives could make it suddenly ‘disappear’. The wreckage (the little bits that would float) would be scattered over many dozens of square miles, all the heavy stuff would sink.

They should know about where it disappeared from the radar track (which showed the plane turning back).

While the automatic systems data transmissions may have been heard by various satellites, there may be a general reluctance to release that data because of the overblown hoopla over the so-called NSA spying.

I truly agree. For me though I have to plead Sargent Shultz cause I really know nothing although 99 percent of the FReepers here know more than I ever shall, you included.

Is it even conceivable, in the realm of possibility, for a 777 to be able and fly low enough to evade obsolete radar?

It is not a question of being obsolete, the range of radar is limited by the curvature of the earth.

There is a gap over the Atlantic and other oceans where coverage ends.

In that case regular radio coverage also ends. Pilots must report their location using long range radio.

Regular radio is VHF meaning 120 MHZ or so. Long range radio is a lower frequency (HF) which has a greater range.

And most of us knew it was a terror attack before the drive by media did that includes the first hit.

drive by media

Yes, maybe they would not be so clueless if they read this site's elders.

why, do you think calling a “control tower” would help....the aircraft is 7 mile high, and controlled by 2 pilots, assuming the aircraft is functioning correctly....There is a radio Aircraft Reporting System(ACARS), that automatically reports the engineering profile of the aircraft, back to the maintenance department of the airline....this system was instrumental in determining the cause of an Air France crash off the Brazilian coast, a few years ago....I suggest that the cause is known by the airline, using the ACARS profile....

I’ll boil this down. My money is on the 27 year old Co-Pilot as having done the deed.

Assuming the plane had some sort of malfunction but was not destroyed in the initial event, is there cellphone service available in that area, or is it too remote?
It would seem to me if, for example, the pilot was intentionally trying to crash the plane, passengers would use their cellphones to call for help, or would report they were going down; or, flight attendants would make calls, as they did on 9-11...
Just a question..

The plane was brought down by a localized EMP, emitted from an Aichi M6A, launched from an I400 Japanese sub. Now if you want to hear my conspiracy theory........

no cell service 150 miles offshore. Only satellite phones would work if the had them on the plane.

The Telegraph, or any other news source for that matter, can report on stories/rumors that later have been proven to be false.

Even if that were the case, there are so many redundant systems that something should have showed.

//if it was you would see little bits of plane all over the place, baggage, seats, bodies, something//

That is my question, if it was a large bomb at 35000 feet, wouldn’t the debris be scattered so far and be so small that it could be difficult to detect?

Yes. This, though, is apparently someone impersonating a pilot, and then lying about details of a possible crime or terror act.
