If it had been me instead of her, then I, and my guilt, would welcome the worst you've got, thinking I deserved it.

Beyond that, I've got too much stupid in my past and future and am not qualified to judge her, though I appreciate the thought. She might be one where the guilt is more than enough. Stupid can't be fixed, they say, but wisdom most often comes with a high price.

I agree with your husband and think that, social creatures that they are, dogs need other dogs. Personally, I couldn't handle more than two. I think they each need to feel like they belong to someone and someone to them and I'm maxed out at two.

I try to avoid stupid people. Their stupid can kill people in cars, drinking, drugs, dangerous dates, speeding, mouthing off to the wrong person, ALL kinds of things stupid causes.

We all do stupid things but we HOPE to minimize them after youth. But some stupids do it all their life. THEY are to be avoided...no matter how "easy" or cute they might be.

Whatever my husband said about dogs, I believed him. ALL dogs loved him. He had a way with animals.

I used to bribe them (doggies) with freeze dried liver bits. Lol. I also have long fingernails and KNOW where doggies like the big scratch. So doggies like me to, but for very different reasons. :o) WOOF!!!
