I used a wheel for BBQ grill for years, just laid a round grill on top. Looking to do that again, If I don’t find a cast metal grill on the side of the road.
I have an air compressor, so I can add all the air to a forge that I want to. Add a lever type valve to the plumbing and enjoy control over the amount, kinda like bellows.
I have too much on my plate right now for real metal working. I need to catch up on a few HonnyDo’s from last year.
Putting in a water heater today. I was supposed to have somebody come do it and got all the fittings off of it, ready to take it off the riser. He got called in to work for seven straight days, so rather than re-connect everything and wait 8 days, I decided to do it myself, and save the $$$. I am half way right now, the easy half, where gravity helps, but next comes raising a 125lb heater into position with no hurts or leaks. Gee I hate plumbing work!
I had to laugh as their throw away pile is better than my "good" stuff. If I would've had a strong man & a flatbed...
