Well, campaign finance reform is surely dead after yesterday. The Supremes will probably kill it on the installment plan.

Not a single Pubbie voted for the ACA in the House or Senate, so how were they “only half-hearted?” They were also excluded by the Demo majority at the time from even participating in an open debate re the plan.

This can be the new cash cow for Indian reservations - medical clinics/hospitals exempt from Obamacare regs!

Everyone should be re-reading Atlas Shrugged and Brave New World, paying attention to the parallels.. . 1984, too.

I said Repubs "have only half-heartedly fought it."

Yeah, I know, I know -- none voted for the actual bill. They knew it would be a straight party-line vote, so why risk it? But since then? If you want to believe the GOP has been doing all it can to oppose O-care, be my guest.

Maybe you mean severability? If one section is bad then the whole document isn’t bad, just that one section.

Wasn’t the fact that nobamacare has no severability clause one of the first problems it had?

I made my quarterly “liberty payment” Monday. My bean counter claimed I did not need to, however, my wife knows better. I slept good Monday night!

I think that would be the severability clause, ie, the lack thereof

I’m sure you meant “severability” clause, not serviceability.

“How is it that you can tell what the weather will be by how the sky looks at sunset or sunrise, discerning the signs of the sky - but you do not know the sign of the times?’

Paraphrasing Matthew 16:3

The zeitgeist says SCOTUS will rule against Christianity and empower the god of fascist government and dominance to subjugate them.

It has already been decreed that we do not have the right of the free exercise of religion. It is accepted that we only have a right not to be offended by religion.

The times say that we have no right to biblical religion and faith outside of a box that is hidden so as to not offend the hedonist or the Muslim.

That happens to me all the time. My computer does it too. You can turn that spell-corrector feature off, so the computer or phone doesn’t change what you typed. Otherwise, be prepared to carefully edit everything you write before hitting “Send”.

If we lived under the rule of law, ObamaCare would already be dead because the Supremes invalidated parts of that atrocity in the otherwise dreadful Roberts ruling. If they uphold ObamaCare again, the First Amendment is dead, as is freedom. If they decide in favor of Hobby Lobby, I assume they will once again illegally legislate from the bench to save portions of ObamaCare. America is facing its most deadly threat ever, and I am not optimistic on a quick victory.
