I saw an TV ad for a $49 Android TracPhone tonight with a $7 a month plan. . . No data. Just phone. No messaging. Just voice. But it WAS an Android touch phone. THERE are the huge numbers of Android phones.
In tablets, there are millions of sub-7" TOY Android tablets being made that have 2GB or even less memory by no name makers being sold for $50 or even less. Many of these are preloaded with apps and have no WIFI and cannot connect to the Internet but they are STILL counted as Android tablets. These inflate the Android tablet market share.
Samsung admitted that 2/3rds of the Android "smartphones" they shipped last year were actually feature phones, incapable of most of the functions that define a true smartphone.
Apple's true market share is far higher than it seems in the actual smartphone market and true tablet markets if those who counted these markets accurately categorized what they were counting instead of including toys and crippled bargain-basement phones in the high-end smartphone market.
I love Apple’s ability to connect anywhere and its speed.
Overall, I hate the graphics.
