Pelosi Video: You Can’t Measure ObamaCare By the Number of People it Insured
The Minority Report ^ | 4/2/14 | Steve Foley

Posted on 04/05/2014 8:59:55 AM PDT by Pontiac

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says Democrats passed their health insurance law, not to insure the uninsured, but to give people “quality” health care and “affordable” health care.

“Madam Leader, isn’t the real measure of success, not the raw number who signed up, but how many of those who signed up were not insured before?” a reporter asked Pelosi at a news conference on Tuesday.

“No, that’s not — the measure is twofold,” Pelosi responded. “The message is how many people have access to health care — quality, affordable health care and insurance.”

Of course you don't measure a Liberal Wealth Redistribution program by its results! You measure it by the intentions of those who voted for it. Actually having definable metrics by which to measure success or failure would place such programs at risk of criticism and elimination and that would place the politicians that voted for these failures at risk of being held accountable at the ballot box.

Health Insurance <> HealthCare.

Clearly Nazi is truly ignorant of this "inequality".

Since it also fails in the measures of “quality” and “affordability”, then Pelosi admits, Obamacare is a COMPLETE failure.

Wait a few more months and measure it by reduced life expectancy.

Mr. Gowdy I think that your evaluation of pelosi and her statements were much to kind and civil. Her evaluation of her own achievements are excellent when she notes that she is able to walk and breath at the same time, at least most of the time.

On this day, there are thousands of noble and courageous Stage IV cancer patients, struggling to fulfill their Creator-endowed purpose for simply being alive, and grateful to the Creator for each day they can continue in their noble and positive struggle to contribute to their families and communities!

However, they must, instead, fight Obama's so-called "Affordable Care Act" artificial and counterfeit "rules" limiting their oncologists' preferred treatment methods, spending valuable hours on the telephone with pharmacists and insurance companies, arguing for their own and their physicians' right to be free!

In the meantime, their own government's Executive Branch sends out the Sandra Flukes and Hollywood battalions to advocate for that "Trojan Horse" by which they want to rule over the American economy, sapping out the critical dollars which might advance a cure for cancer or other deadly diseases for what? - a product misidentified as a "women's health" component, and a phony argument to support such claims, in order to promote, gain and preserve their own coercive power over a formerly free people, and their wasteful spending on behalf of special interests in order to buy the votes necessary to do so!

Their determination to succeed at this so-called "progressive" agenda for America is represented by the wild-eyed and ridiculous claims of Pelosi, to say nothing of the rantings of Reid, none of which would make sense to an informed and enlightened citizenry.

It’s a success if you measure how many new voters we signed up to be Democrats.

It’s a success if you count how much more money we now have access to to via the suckers private bank accounts.

It’s a success if you measure by how many more people we are going to get onto the government teat... I mean cheese.

Nope. Just measure it by the money it has stolen from Americans, and the freedom of choice that has been lost.

The sheer nonsense and idiocy plus the total disconnect from reality that spews from this woman’s piehole would send the press into a 24 hour screed of how she should never be in a position of any power save for leading a church bake sale if Someone like Palin made the same statements she has over the years.

You can’t measure Communism by the number of people it murdered. You have to measure it by the number of people it helped.

Yep, and impoverished too, Lowest common denominator. The condition of no money, no hope, just barely getting by is much easier for a government to achieve than a vibrant and rich middle class who can provide for themselves without the need of ‘help’ by the government.

Furthermore, you can’t measure Pelosi’s I.Q.

Coming from a Democratic political family, Nancy Pelosi has spent virtually her entire life helping Democrats get elected, including herself. So, from her perspective, the best way to measure ObamaCare’s success is its effect on increasing the number of Democratic electoral victories.

Starting with the 2010 House elections, ObamaCare’s influence on Democratic electoral victories is minus 52, the number of House Democrats who lost their re-election bids the year after the passage of ObamaCare. Nancy Pelosi also lost her Speakership that year, having to give up her precious gavel and personal taxpayer-funded airplane.

This election year, ObamaCare threatens to wreak even further damage to the Democrats in Congress, possibly putting in jeopardy Nancy’s House Minority Leader position, since anything like a repeat of the Democrats’ 2010 debacle would result in only those Democrats in the safest districts being re-elected — in other words, the outcome would be the dominance of the Congressional Black Caucus, whose members would rather choose one of their own as House Minority Leader.

With 26% of Americans no longer supporting ObamaCare, Nancy Pelosi may soon be the only person in the country who still thinks ObamaCare is absolutely wonderful — so wonderful she can’t stop talking about it, and thereby reminding everyone else how bad their experiences have been with it and energizing them to vote for Republicans in November so the law can finally be repealed.

Let’s hope Nancy continues in this vein up to the November elections.

LMAO! And you can't measure the Titanic by the number of passengers she carried!

(Sometimes this is too easy)

Always killed me how many fell for the “speech”...health insurance coverage somehow became health care itself, as if nobody could see a doctor before Obama came along.
