Ditch Firefox and go to any other browser.

As long as Firefox/Mozilla is willing to can their conservative CEO...shouldn't we cast our vote by canning Firefox/Mozilla.

I do, so do many others obviously. Tired of being kicked in the face by companies and told to like it. At least Pale Moon and Opera arent outwardly hostile to people who dont conform 100% to their views.

I highly recommend DuckDuckGo over Google, combined with using the Ghostery extension.

“Just curious: what was the last version of IE you used?” cannot remember; sooooo long ago

I'm finding IE11 on Windows 7 (Pro x64) isn't bad at all...yet.

Hope those following this route are checking in with Mozillo to let them know what they’re doing and why.....

I recently had a new computer built. My last one was a 1999, 32 bit, sytem that ran XP as its OS.
It was suggested by the shop that built my new one to use Widows7. I did and I really like it so far.
Just a suggestion as a former XP long time fan and user. Note:new box is 64 bit.

I’m in the process of downloading it right now; I hate Google too though, I think they’re evil. Nosy bastards. It’s having trouble downloading, if it doesn’t go maybe I should try something else but not sure which one.

I’m not about to let other peoples actions determine the tools I choose to use. It’s called freedom.

Other than complaining to Mozilla folks and backing off using Firefox for a while, I doubt this will be as effective a boycott as the ones of A&E and Cracker Barrel.

I don't think this abandonment of Firefox and Thunderbird is going to make much sense in the long run. And besides, maybe the CEO is glad to be out. Anyone asked him?

Pale Moon. Almost identical to Firefox.

Fascinating. Pale Moon is the product a Swedish programmer named Markus Straver, who apparently adapts the open source Firefox code himself. The Pale Moon installer executable is digitally signed with his name.

He seems to be supported with donations:

“As much as I really dislike them, I installed Chrome”

Of course now your not only supporting homosexuals, but every other immoral, and political intrusion under the sun. Great Job.

Thank you. Now to find an OS.

As an XP user, Linux Mint 16 will probably look more familiar to you than Windows 8. However, since this thread is about a boycott, I should mention that Mint developer Clement Lefebvre is no friend of Israel.

“I’ve just started using Opera, had used Mozilla for a long time, no more...”

Ditto...a shame because I have been enjoying the open source nature of ubuntu and Linux Mint...

thanks, g-mafia.

You might be right, or not, at the end of the day we can only do what we feel is right.

Browsers are the most largely interchangeable pieces of software there id, people that switch over may never come back, not when you have dozens of similar products available to select from at no cost.

Also as far as the CEO goes, im sure he is delighted to be bounced from the company he cofounded almost 2 decades ago, after 10 days of being the CEO.
