Well if they do take you down make sure that when the news media sticks a camera in your face you say... “My electric use only went up because I had to take in indigent relatives who lost their jobs due to Obama!”

Says a lot. Use too much electricity and worry about a raid. We’ve become like an abused spouse walking on eggshells.

Get some sleep—for days! Sleep a little at every opportunity. After more sleep, there will be less fear. They’re not going to do anything to you for churning out bitcoins on a computer farm. If police come, don’t do anything. Just put your hands up and say, “My give up.” They won’t do anything. Then sue ‘em.

That moat and crocodile idea mentioned earlier is pretty cool, though. I like that! ;-)

Take your chances and don’t say a word.

If ya do they’ll think your lying and swat teams will kick your doors in and throw flash bang grenades through the windows.

Camera system and blowup dolls! That’s even better. There’s free camera software for software motion detection and automatic uploads to remote servers. When they first meet the blowup dolls, that’s what needs to be uploaded automatically. Post to a YouTube account immediately.

Maybe some stuffed dogs in the entrance room would help...and life sized dolls.

Steel security doors both extenal “screen” and main door. I have toyed with the idea of a chain curtain in my mudroom that would trap any invaders if they managed to get through but thats a little more than I want to do. If they want you they are gonna get you. I think just keep quiet. If you report yourself you are on their radar. If you invite them in to the house you just gave up your forth amendment rights.

All this talk about blow up dolls.

Why would the Secret Service be interested in high electrical bills?

I got a sneaking suspicion they may not be being entirely honest.

I am running computers at my Florida farm that use ten-fold the electricity I used a year ago, this time of year.

'"That sounds pretty suspicious, Comrade. We hope that you made a large donation to the Democratic Party year..."

Move the bitcoin mining operation off premises. Then you can also segregate the business expenses and get better rates and deductions, not to mention the risk of a SWAT team unintended invitation.

Bitcoin is a worthy endeavor long term, but that also might cause an invasion some day.

Computers don’t use a lot of electricity.

You’d need a pretty large solar farm, with batteries, for 100-150 kWh per day, but it is doable - and EXPENSIVE. But you’d also have to deal with bad weather. On top of that, you’ll have a heat signature that will be noticed by the drones.

Not easy - but if you are perfectly legal, try to register with the pigs to the extent you can (Sherrif, State, DEA, FBI, Ag, etc.).

Don’t worry so much. You aren’t going to get raided. So what if you do? They aren’t gonna execute ya.

Also, dude, if you are that paranoid, stay away from bitcoin.
Above all, my brothers, fear not.

I would poke around in the bitcoin related forums.  I am sure your question has been asked there already.  I hope your original investment in the mining computers pays off, and you end up making some profit.  It looks like you need a good air conditioner in that room, too. Good luck!
