Publix - sale of snow crab legs (Did Jameis Winston Post Publix Crab Leg Complaint 2 Years Ago?)

I have been a loyal publix customer for years.I live in Tallahassee Fl.

I am upset with sale of snow crab legs. I noticed the price has sky rocked in the last year. They are like $10.99 a pound and the last few months they will go on sell for like $9.99 a pound. This is no sale.

If you put them on sale more often and lower the prices you would sell out I guarantee you would not waste crab legs by letting them sit in a freezer getting freezer burnt. I am going to start shopping at Win Dixie because they have better sales on their crab legs.

Win Dixie just last week had their crab legs on sale for $6.99 a pound.I mean come on publix what is your problem! 3310ea0

Many of you have might have seen the STORY about Jameis Winston getting busted for shoplifting crab legs at a Publix in Tallahassee. It is now being headlined by Drudge. Well, I did a little research and found the complaint posted above lodged about the price of crab legs at Publix. Specifically the Tallahassee Publix. So was the "anonymous" poster of two years ago really Jameis Winston?

Just watched the episode 1 of Deadliest Catch.
The crab boats sat at the dock the first 3 weeks of the season waiting for the end of the government shutdown.
Couldn’t get their fishing permits because no one in the offices.

So their season was cut about in half.

Blame Zer0 for the price of snow/king crabs.

Publix is the 800 pound gorilla in Florida. They have the biggest share of market share (in Tampa Bay area, U Save, Sweetbay and Albertson's shut down), Winn Dixie is third in Florida after Wal Mart.

Unlike New England, food prices are high. In Connecticut, Stop and Shop, Big Y, Shop-Rite and Price Chopper battle for number one. (And there are still smaller chains like IGA, Gressler's that is still around.)

Winn Dixie has better meat and seafood prices than Publix but lousy in-store coupons. The GOOD NEWS is that Winn Dixie is now beginning to accept competitor coupons.

A couple of years ago, my wife was reading the New Births section of the newspaper and saw twins named .... Winn and Dixie.
Even more interesting because there isn't a Winn Dixie within 500 miles of us.
