There is also the the positive that there is no more new “music” from Nirvana. That band was one of the most overrated, IMHO, ever!
Without a doubt. But if you read a book called "I want my MTV" which is a history of the network, you learn that the elevation of Nirvana and grunge and the obliteration of rock music was by design. It was 100% the decision of a few MTV executives. It had noting to do with any kind of grassroots groundswell like it was portrayed.
