I asked you what is consciousness.

You need to define what you mean.

I provided an example of being conscious vs being unconscious.

My guess is that would not be what you mean by consciousness.

Do you consider yourself to be conscious?

Can you give me a scientific definition of consciousness?

Can you use the scientific method to measure consciousness?

Or is consciousness beyond the realm of scientific investigation? I mean real science that uses the scientific method, not fake science that depends upon inductive/deductive reasoning and "consensus."

Is consciousness something about which we know very little other than the empirical observation that I perceive myself to be conscious?
