Gee, that was brilliant, my only other computer I ever bought still has XP on it, this new cheap laptop, my second computer purchase, came with 8.1.
you suggested you UPGRADED from XP to 8.1 on the same computer. You never said on two different machines. THAT’S a HUGE reason people wouldn’t want to go with 8.0 or 8.1 if they have a newer computer and it currently has XP on it. No one wants the hassle of having to spend a day or 2 (that’s if everything goes smooth without problms) re-installing/reconfiguring the OS and programs.
