Why is every Democrat agenda about forcing people to do things they don’t want to? It’s always some kind of slavery they’re pushing for.

Why is every Democrat agenda about forcing people to do things they dont want to?Because Liberals always know what's best for everyone. Even more than they do themselves.

Your state may have a State flower and Bird, but here in California we have a state slut.

You are exactly right. People need to read the article. And what, has she been out of school one year? That makes her ready for California State Senate?

My point is that there are many “lazy” freepers who just read the headlines of posted articles and comment without actually reading the article. And if you look at the replies to that article, youll see a whole bunch of them joining you in thinking that Fluke was done.
Its been my experience that often headlines are misleading, even those of people writing articles on our side - they tend to exaggerate the good news and create a false sense of elation and confidence, as the headline of this article did.

A nationally known slut can’t even garner 20% of the vote in a liberal districted state senate race?..... (snicker)

here in California we have a state slut.I happened to be surfing the channels when I saw her congressional testimony on C Span.
One overwhelming theme kept popping into my mind....
What kind of woman discusses her sex life in public, and I bet her parents must be proud.

Don't count Ms. Fluck out. She's in an excellent position. Note there is no Republican opposition in the upcoming general election in her district.
It's a whole new ball game with just the two of them running. She'll get a generous slice of the California Democrat vote, all the radical vote, all the fruits and nuts votes, all the academia vote and all the crazy women vote.....and she'll be well-funded with plenty of donations from a united Californicate looney-left that sees her as an energetic rising star.
I, for one, would not even think of betting against her.
