Well you are the one who said their policy was unfair to you so I asked you what should be done.
It sounded like you wanted something to be done about it.
But I guess you just wanted to whine about how unfair it was to you.
I’m a firm proponent of tipping. “To insure promptness” is what it’s all about, although it seems that some either don’t know the definition and/or are supporters of the minimum wage.
Let me guess, you are a disgruntled server right? Here’s some advice, find a new line of work if tradition bother’s you.
Fair enough. However, this practice seems to me to be merely a method to stick it to the consumer. If you are fine with it, so be it. I have no doubt that the market will indeed dictate the failure of this experiment.
What a whiner
You made illogical statements saying you were being personally hurt by this restaurant’s policies, and then when someone calls you out on it you go to personal attacks.
Get lost
Oh, thank you! Thank you! I was a bit worried!
My wife and I are pretty frugal and don’t go out for dinner very often. When we do we usually look at the menu before we get seated, and if the prices are too high we don’t hesitate to move on to another restaurant.
1. The server will want you to come back... Repeat business keeps restaurants in business.
2. If the server gives bad service, you can always talk to a manager.
