It’s taken a week, but the long-awaited fight back has finally come. Thousands of Iraqis young and old have answered the beleaguered Shia-led government’s call to arms and signed up to protect the capital, and country, from ISIS militants. As jihadists from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant march on Baghdad after capturing swathes of northern Iraq male supporters of the government turned out in droves today to enlist and fight back. The militants have already seized control of Iraq's second largest city Mosul and oil-rich Tikrit in less than 48 hours, but so far government forces have stalled the militants' remarkably rapid advance near Samarra, a city just 110km (68 miles) north of Baghdad.
Nevertheless ISIS is pushing ahead with its aim...

President Obama basically has two things he has to do in his job. He has to manage The Executive Branch of the government. He is the lead on American foreign policy. He can’t do either job.
What will happen to the billions of dollars worth of military weapons and equipment we are leaving behind in Afghanistan?

Now that it appears amnesty is gone for this session of congress, get ready for “spontaneous” protest by millions of illegals which will be followed by “spontaneous” terrorist attacks.
If the muslims overseas “spontaneously” begin attacks against McDonalds and their Golden Arches you can pretty much guarantee a terrorist attack is planned for the Gateway to the West Arch which symbolizes to Hispanics the white man stealing Hispanic lands.
What you will see on the news with an attack on the Gateway to the West Arch, is millions of illegal invaders cheering a terrorist attack against the US and millions of muslims cheering the destruction of the symbol of Americas presence in their countries, the “McDonalds Arch”.
Our lefty friends will get the race war the Weather Underground always wanted as a path to absolute power.
We were not building an Iraqi army. We were hiring people to wear a uniform and collect a paycheck.
It's only an army if the men in it are willing to fight.
As far as the Shiite majority in Iraq, they will either be killed, driven out of Sunni areas (the areas with oil), or develop a willingness to exterminate the Sunnis utterly.
He has very successfully accomplished his mission to fundamentally transform this nation by giving as much aid and comfort as he can to our enemies.
Not just those which are foreign and domestic, but also those which are among the "spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms"!

Here is a very good website for war news, and nothing but war news.
Several interesting possibilities here.
1) Iran will invade Iraq, maybe invited by the government of Iraq, to drive off the Sunni al-Qaeda. Then Iran will likely not leave, but take over the government.
2) If the Sunnis lose, this is an end game for them. Sunnis will be driven from Iraq or butchered. They have already bragged that they intend to move into Jordan and overthrow the king. But they may be pushed into Jordan in weakness, and the Bedouins there will likely smite them.
3) The Kurdish Peshmurga has taken the place of the fleeing Iraqi army in Kirkuk, which is also oil rich. This gives them a chance to expel the Arabs there and make the city fully Kurd. Major oil revenues for them if they can pull it off.
4) “Potato boy” Sadr is trying to raise his Shiite black army again, but they will just defend the Shiite holy cities against the Sunnis. No help at all for Baghdad. But it will make the southeast to the Gulf pretty impenetrable.
Mission Accomplished... is that what he’s saying in secret tonight?
