Dachsies usually are little scrambling snuffling legged logs of energy.
It does have to be asked: At what point do you get the hint that your Dog is fat?
Is your Dog Fat when it no longer runs to the food bowl, or when it waits for you to bring the food to it?
(Their floors must be polished to a high sheen though....)
