In the clip I saw there were two team members who jumped from the car; one went straight to Contador and the other picked up a bike lying just on the pavement that was not broken in half. Still, all the different versions show how recollections blur when things go awry.
Now we can understand why poor Hillary Clinton has such a hard time with facts.
