‘’Gunsmoke’’ was ready for a 21st season, but for some reason the rug was pulled out from under it. All the cast is now largely dead but for Buck Taylor and Burt Reynolds.
Also ‘’Hazel’’ could have continued had Shirley Booth not had health problems in 1966.
