Oh boy!!! Another hand-picked GOP Establishment hack with no principles wins another primary!! Boy, I’m SO pumped up about the Republicans taking back the Senate!! Guys like Purdue will REALLY lay the smack down on Obama and we’ll finally restore limited Constitutional government and take back this once great nation forever!! </sarc>
I didn’t realize until this morning that Kingston was endorsed by the Chamber of Cheap Foreign Labor. Kingston is a true conservative and is an amnesty opponent (the CofC endorsed him for other reasons apparently) as is Perdue.
Kingston must not have realized that a Chamber of Commerce endorsement is anathema to knowledgeable constitutional conservatives. Their endorsement (and Perdue’s smart exploitation of that endorsement) likely drove many thousands away from Kingston and to Perdue.
The Chamber’s endorsement is becoming the kiss of death to candidates — something to be avoided at all costs.
It was one of the major drivers for me voting for Perdue.... that and the shady dealings Kingston has had over the years. Plus the BIG one for me is that I will not vote for anyone who has been in DC for their entire career. 22 years is FAR too long for anyone to be in DC.
