Some of us are just sick of hucksters and pollyannas constantly claiming cures for us sick people.

It’s true that drugs generally get their origins from compounds in every-day environments.

However, when people start claiming it cures everything - which invariably these “natural” proponents do - one knows it’s a joke.

They may help or cure a few things, but they will not cure everything.

Fools and hucksters do not help the process of figuring it out.

It just looks like bananas to you because you're stoned.

You're pretty careless with your accusations, a-hole. Given the lack of logic and complete absence of sources in your argument it seems more likely that you're stoned, drunk or have a two digit IQ.

You are here providing evidence in support of the claim.

So is argumentum ad vericundiam and argumentum ad populum, which is what you have so far provided.

First you get it right then you take it all back with a lie. LOL

oil, not smoking.

there are beneficial compounds in marijuana that can be isolated and used against cancer. the oil isn’t smoked or used to get high.

Endocannabinoids do not come from the cannabis plant, our bodies produce them. Endocannabinoids make our immune system work, which kills diseased cells in our bodies.

At least some the Phytocannabinoids and probably most of them (there are 70 known) from the cannabis plant act like the endocannabinoids our bodies produce, boosting our immune system. Our immune system was designed by God to protect us from disease. Some of the other Phytocannabinoids from cannabis have other medical properties including ones that attack cancer cells on their own, have remarkable anti-inflammatory properties and reduce pain without being addictive. I am no stoner, I am interested in the science and ways we can improve our medical field to help fight disease and reduce suffering.

Forget that it is the ‘cannabis’ plant, look at the science. There are some other plants being re-discovered to have amazing medical properties too. It is a very interesting field of study and one we are already benefiting from, and that is going to increase as these studies continue.

Why do people think it’s so outlandish that Marijuana could be of benefit for certain diseases and conditions?

What's outlandish is that stoners will claim, somewhere somehow, that marijuana will benefit every particular disease and condition.

Even while 95% of them actually smoke only to alleviate the condition of clear-headedness.

>> How about “POT researchers try to prove POT is Beneficial.”

POT opponent tries to prove POT not beneficial.

Your arguments are stylistically no different than what you’re opposing.

Actually, if you want to get right on down to it like that, the real outlandishness is: Why do you, in all your ignorance, care?

Your problem is you choose to let others affect your life. bye acerbating it with your own judgmental standards. Which I guess is a scientific way of -> ‘Mind your own business’ and most of your problems will go away.

"bye Acerbating"?

Looks to me like something is affecting your judgment, Stoney. Not to mention your punctuation and vocabulary.

I suppose you are right: If I were wrecked all day I wouldn't notice or care about such things.

Who knows, I might even end up a Master Acerbator like you.

I do not bother with well thought out arguments on this topic anymore. I've done that in the past, and they work about as well as irrational and nonsensical arguments.

Everything is just off the cuff because it is a waste of time to do otherwise.

How are irrational, nonsensical, off the cuff arguments not a waste of time?

How is needling the supporters worthwhile?
