He didn’t “suffer” nearly enough.
There's nothing wrong with a rope.
All these defense attorneys have brought this upon themselves by going after the companies that manufacture the drugs used in executions, forcing states to alternate suppliers or alternate means. And these alternate drugs sometimes go wrong. Maybe they should just bring back hanging, but then they’d go after the rope maunufacurers.
I agree about the ineffective drugs.
His victims got 3 shots to the chest. He should have suffered a similar fate. Much more effective.
I thought you may have mistyped the title, then I found that FoxNews wasn’t paying attention, they indeed have double “murder’s” in the title — it’s “double MURDERER”, NOT “double murder’s” execution.
While I have no problem with convicted killers suffering in the worst way, I believe this highlights the shortcomings of very expensive drugs used to kill a man.
A .308 to the skull gets the job done for less than $0.05. We need to bring back firing squads, IMO.
Dude’s dead. Execution successful.
I s’pose he could just have a seat in ol’ sparky and wait for the windmill to spool up...
We have a Police State. We sink into Barbarism with these executions. We sometimes execute the innocent. Our Government spies on us. ODimwit is POTUS. Nitwits run the GOP.
Yeah. This will end well. /s
The entire point of lethal injection has been to compromise with people who don’t want any executions.
They complicate the process at every turn - suing for this - protesting for that - until the only acceptable choice left for a state is lethal injection.
And they are glad when one of them goes wrong because it gives them an fresh opportunity to have all executions stopped which was their real goal all along.
To hell with this.
No drugs, no mistakes. All a state needs is a few bolt action hunting rifles. They don’t even have to create a firing squad. Set the rifles up in mounts with the barrels laser aligned to the target zone. Strap the condemned on a board, prop him up in front of the rifles, let him say a few words and put several rounds into his heart. Works every time, zero failure rate.
(It’s easy to find a person who would pull the lever or press the button. All it takes a little psychological profiling. There are many people who could execute someone after midnight and then go out for an early breakfast. It’s just a fact of life - not everyone feels guilt over killing. Good or bad that’s just how it is.)
Doesn’t a “botched” execution mean that the idiot survived the attempt?
He’s dead—to me it worked.
We ought to have every execution as painful as possible. Maybe it’ll cut down on the murder rate of the innocent?
What do you mean, “IT WAS A BOTCHED”? He’s dead isn’t he? Did he even thing that when he murdered these two people, that he was “BOTCHING” the killing? Or did he even care whether he was “BOTCHING” his crime? Let’s just say that we got rid of another piece of garbage, and we’re a little bit safer because we did that.
Boo hoooo!!! let’s all feel sorry for the murderering bastard who had a tough time dying. Too bad he wasn’t drawn and quartered.
Agreed. Life in a cage. Not much else worse, in my opinion.
The Saudis have it right....they guarantee that there'll be no more than 2 seconds of snorting or coughing.
Forget the Rube Goldberg drug cocktail dispensers and just build a guillotine or something.
Too darn bad!!
