I still like The pantry for breakfast. 24 hours a day. They say they have no key for the front door. Many employees work 40 years and more.

Hey, I envy your San Diego life. I love it there. And I begin retirement as soon as i can figure out how to sign up for Medicare!

The Pantry is another iconic place to eat.

I worked three blocks away from there back in the 70’s. Ate Breakfast there at least once a week. The Omelets were so big that they would be hanging off the Plate.

Also used to hit the Original Tommy’s on Beverly. Double Cheeseburger with extra Chile, yum. When I worked Midnight Shift, that was Breakfast. Love the Shack...

It’s a wonder I haven’t needed a Heart Transplant yet.

BTW - Anyone remember Coopers Donuts in Downtown L.A.?
