I just finished reading a biography of Wayne. Even though they were on opposite sides of the political spectrum, they got along well with each other. I really like ''in Harm's Way'' a lot as well. I think my favorite of Kirk's films was ''Lust for Life'', followed by ''Spartacus''.
Yes, I enjoyed those films too!
He also was pretty good friends with Ronald Reagan as well! I remember when on the day of Pres. Reagan’s funeral and burial, they had flown his remains back to California to bury him at his ranch (or library). Both Kirk and Charlton Heston were invited, along with others; but neither Kirk nor Heston were able to come because of illness.
‘Wow, I hope and pray that the rumors about him and Natalie Wood are not true. I know he has made a statement that back then he had a chip on his shoulder. No doubt he is a great actor and has calm his womanizing down. Like I said I pray those rumors are not true.’

Likely it’s the other way around; she seduced him.
Natalie Wood was a starlet who would do anything to make it in Hollywood. Read up on her ‘love’ life.
I put no faith in that story.
Kirk Douglas is a living legend- an American treasure
the likes we will never see again.
.
Re photo of Kirk and Anne. He aged well. Very handsome for a man in his nineties.
Cast a giant shadow would be the name of the movie.I thought it was a great movie to boot.
Agree — great bone structure!
So that explains Michael Douglas’ sex addiction.
that’s the one I thought it was very good too
