Congratulation Mr. Douglas and bride! My parents just celebrated 60 years, too.
One of my favorite Kirk Douglas movies was “In Harm’s Way” with co-star John Wayne. One can only imagine the arguments the liberal Douglas had with the conservative Wayne.

One can only imagine the arguments the liberal Douglas had with the conservative Wayne.I just finished reading a biography of Wayne. Even though they were on opposite sides of the political spectrum, they got along well with each other. I really like ''in Harm's Way'' a lot as well. I think my favorite of Kirk's films was ''Lust for Life'', followed by ''Spartacus''.
