In a Sunday video, the former Republican vice presidential nominee announced the Sarah Palin Channel, a subscription-based Web site that she says will offer news, video chats with her and behind-the-scenes glimpses of speeches and political events she attends.

There is zero question that Governor Palin has been leading the conservative movement since 2008, and empowering it, and giving it courage.
She has no cult of personality following, it is about politics and keeping her viable, since she has suffered the most dedicated attacks by media and the left, and the rinos of the GOP, that we have ever seen, yet she has survived in spite of you guys constantly striking at her and striving to marginalize and weaken her.
We have watched as she emboldened politicians like Perry and DeWitt, and helped bring us a real conservative block in government, and especially Ted Cruz.
“I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Governor Palin, Cruz said.”
"She has no cult of personality following..."
SMH.
So, where were all those photos I linked you to taken of her in hooker heels that you denied existed, if not in public? And why are you avoiding the question I asked twice about your double standard for how professionals should dress in public?
Blind loyalty, nothing more to learn, and believing someone is perfect? Don't bother answering.
Attack conservatives as “cultists”, but it is childish and petty.
I agree completely with your post. Thanks.
I am a fan of Sarah. But her dress is often inappropriate and her voice and accent are grating — one of the things that held Perot back and gave us Clinton.
Margaret Thatcher, whom you must admit enjoyed a consummate degree of success that has so far eluded Sarah, took voice coaching and got a makeover to appear more marketable. Many truly great people address the rough edges that may be standing in their way. That is not an attack. That’s marketing.
Your pettiness and womanly jealousy overcome your ability to think rationally about this most extraordinary politician.
It’s the same personal insults directed at her, over and over.
A politician and especially a conservative one, needs a way to access the public, influence the public and to make an income.
"She has no cult of personality following..."
OK. I'm convinced...
Thank God we had her leadership and influence for this last 6 years."
"She has no cult of personality following..."
Not a cult. Nope. No-sir-ee. Not at all.
Weird, do you think that makes sense?
For you to keep labeling conservative politics as cultism is idiotic, but the left does that a lot.
Reagan, Palin, Cruz, if they are effective, the left starts spreading the imagery of cultishness to counter their political effectiveness and to mock the Christian views held by most conservatives.
Just like you are doing.
You seem to have some cult of blindness against conservatives.
"We've never spoken, but she left me a nice message, and I believe she's done more for the Republican Party than anyone since Ronald Reagan," DeMint told Politico.
You claim there’s no cult of personality following Sarah Palin, however you sound like a North Korean speaking of Kim Jong Un if anyone dares criticize her.
It’s creepy, dude.
C2c is $7.95 or thereabouts. I can’t stay up that late. He has such a variety of guests I find value in it. What is Sarah going to bring to the table topic-wise that I cannot get anywhere else for free?
It’s the definition of a value proposition.
No, what is creepy is you trying to pretend that a common analysis of Palin’s influence on the conservative movement, as voiced by Jim DeMint for example, has to be the result of a cult.
Frankly, your dislike for her political influence and conservative gains, is disturbing, and lame.
So far, you sound like the typical Salon writer.
No. I am a conservative that can think for himself and I refuse to slavishly follow any politician du jour.
I don’t dislike Sarah Palin. She makes a lot of good points. But she’s not the end-all, be-all conservative politician. She’s a former half-term governor of a state with fewer than 750,000 people and a failed Vice-Presidential candidate.
Unfortunately, many in conservative circles think she’s the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan. She’s not. She’ll never be President. She’ll never run for any elected office.
She knows she has a cult following. Sometimes she uses that to get good people elected. Now it seems that she’s going to use it to make money through subscriptions to her website from her cult followers.
Cults of personality are dangerous things. They have done everything from keeping Kennedys out of jail to causing the slaughter of tens of millions. I think they should be avoided at all costs.
You are a blind follower of the cult of Palin, and have made my case about her cult followers for me over and over. Thanks for that, anyway.
There is nothing even slightly cultic about Palin and her fans.
It’s called projection and it explains your passion and drive to keep pursuing Palin and conservatives so harshly and determinedly.
Look at what is really on your mind, it comes out in your words, you are susceptible to cult thinking and think in cult terms.
“that can think for himself and I refuse to slavishly follow any politician du jour.”
“shes not the end-all, be-all conservative politician.”
“the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan.”
“She knows she has a cult following”
“subscriptions to her website from her cult followers.”
“Cults of personality are dangerous things”
“the slaughter of tens of millions. I think they should be avoided at all costs”
“You are a blind follower of the cult of Palin”
Yeah I realized after I posted it, maybe I had underestimated the cost.
I think we shall see.
I haven’t signed up yet, but I don’t sign up for just about anything so I’m not a good test subject.
I’ll wait and see.
Not a huge joiner, but I like the idea.
Not saying I’ll join, but not saying I won’t.
