Perhaps that is because no one cares to spend $5.00 for a $2.00 box of cereal?
They’ve been drinking the kool-aid.
I saw a report just this morning that said sales of breakfast cereal is shrinking considerably.”
You can’t eat cereal without milk and it has gone sky high. Also wonder how much is attributable to the fact that lots of schools are serving breakfast and lunch to kids, even though it’s summer and school isn’t in session.
I quit buying anything from General Mills sometime last year. My grandson loves Post grape nuts for breakfast though. Box of Grape nuts this last weekend was $3.99, up from $3.52 in just two weeks. Box says 20 ounces but they must be making the paper and lining heavier because it was only about 3/4ths full. Used my last $.75 off coupon so guess that’s it for the grape nuts.
Our Dollar Tree has 9 ounce Post shredded wheat and I bought all they had. Even that box has gotten a lot smaller but at least a couple of boxes gets me through a week.
You will now be barraged with Green Cereal commercials. Wheaties, the cereal made for milk from fartless cows. Corn flakes grown with tractors powered by wind power. Fruit Loops produced at a Queer friendly plant by queers who disapprove of climate change. Boxes will be necessarily smaller and cost significantly more but that’s a small price to pay to be on the cutting edge of PC.
I knew this day would come.
That doesn't make sense and is downright stupid.
I actually prefer cane sugar as a sweetener over corn based sweetener. Of course the fact that corn syrup is cheaper has nothing to do with it. < /sarc >
Soy based products are no longer PC? Who'dathought??
A condom in every box.
The mods frown upon changing the Headline when quoting a source for a variety of good reasons.
However, as a subtitle, under your comments, it is just as effective and aly ours!
: )
Works for me.
I can get along just fine without General Mills, thankyouverymuch. The pro-sodomy crowd can have 'em.
Probably - my thoughts were that the headline should read:
GENERAL MILLS TO ADD 20% TO COST OF DOING BUSINESS - WILL RAISE PRICES 35% TO COVER IT
