I wonder if they can afford security guards.

This is the same crap that the Child Psychology department at the University of Minnestoopid has been pushing for nearly a decade.
Now as for giving birth control pills at such an early age, what health implications are there? I am no doctor, but that is a critical time to go messing with the endocrine system, and this malarkey is for pushing an agenda, not to treat a genuine health issue. But what the hey, we have teachers demanding students be placed on a Schedule II controlled substance, getting away with practicing medicine without a license. This is worse than dealing with a witch doctor!

Lundgren is the ONLY one who’s included on the Institute’s “Our Team.” Here’s here bio:

Rebecka Inga Lundgren, MPH
Director of Research; Research Instructor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Georgetown University Medical Center

Ms. Lundgren has over 25 years of comprehensive, hands-on experience developing and testing reproductive health and behavior change programs, with particular interest in expanding family planning choice, youth and engaging men in reproductive health. Rebecka’s current research interests include systematic approaches to scale-up, social barriers to family planning use and prevention of gender-based violence. As an applied anthropologist, she has expertise applying qualitative and ethnographic methods to her work, and has developed innovative mixed method approaches to evaluate fertility awareness and gender transformation programs for very young adolescents. She received a MPH from UCLA’s School of Public Health in the Department of Population and Family Health in 1987, and is currently completing her doctorate in applied anthropology at the University of Maryland.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

It sounds like perverts trying to sexualities children so they can then insist the age of consent be lowered. Hang them all. Hands off our children and stay away from their fragile minds.

Sounds like grooming to me. Men who do this would be thrown in the slammer for 20 years. MSnBS had a great series called “To catch a predator” showing these sick people who had been grooming children.

Throw a name like “Planned Parenthood” and approve it by the US government and it’s A OK.

“Parental desire to protect their children is often exercised through behavioral regulation and monitoring.”

“Parents worry that their daughters’ emerging fertility and sexuality could lead to premarital pregnancy and keep their daughters close to home to ensure safety,” the report adds.

The report authors actually see these as bad things. They should be restricted from contact with minors just like other sexual predators. They must be vying for a job working for Obama’s school safety czar.

“The chicks who wrote this report must be grad students . .”

Maybe, maybe not, but two of the four are employed at Gerorgetown’s “Institute for Reproductive Health, Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

“Georgetown lives its Catholic and Jesuit tradition.” They need to drop the use of the word Catholic, and yes, the Pope is Jesuit.

Also noticed the little nugget: “Georgetown College will offer a new major in justice and peace studies starting this fall . . .”

LOL. Ok, seriously -- in English, just WTF does this mean? (other than "I'm a liberal kook and want your kids sexually available to adult pervs").

Can you imagine if they’d had a photo accompanying the bio? Maybe we don’t want to imagine. Sounds like someone with her very own agenda, and a major university (nominally Catholic, no less!)funding her ‘work.’
